Students may register for individual workshops or participate in multiple offerings throughout the week for a more comprehensive training experience.

Workshop Offerings, July 20-26, 2026

Flamenco Dance Technique and Choreography Workshop

This workshop combines technical training and choreographic study to support the development of well-rounded flamenco dancers. Students will refine footwork, turns, coordination, braceo, posture, balance, and spatial awareness while learning choreography rooted in traditional flamenco forms.

Emphasis is placed on the integration of technique, musicality, and artistic expression, fostering both technical proficiency and greater confidence in performance.

Mantón and Abanico in Flamenco Dance Workshop

Explore the expressive possibilities of two iconic flamenco elements: the mantón (shawl) and abanico (fan). This workshop focuses on the technical and artistic use of these traditional accessories, developing coordination, strength, timing, and movement quality while enhancing stage presence and expressive range.

Students will learn fundamental techniques, transitions, and choreographic applications that integrate the mantón and abanico naturally into flamenco dance. Suitable for dancers wishing to expand their technical skills and artistic vocabulary.
